It’s Saint Patrick’s day. The air smells like beer and cigarettes and my eyes are overwhelmed by blurs of bright green.
Oh New York.
Whoever said New Yorkers were rude was definitely wrong. After sitting at Madison Square Garden for 30 minutes, I made two friends. Technically Roger (some finance dude in the city) just wanted my number, but we had a really great conversation. My other acquaintance (a business man from Boston) gave me his wall street journal to read. And then I ran into someone from my high school. All in 30 minutes.
I’ll be back. Maybe for good someday :)
It is true that God is calling us to lives of simplicity, so we do not hold the things of this world too closely and do not fall into the trap of being possessed by our possessions. Yet here is the paradox: it is in becoming poor that we are made rich, it is only in the space that emptiness…

Am I doing my body injustice? I am convinced that, no matter how long I live on the East Coast, I will forever be on PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). New York City/Spring Break. You came at the right time. Most people discover new things when they travel. Whatevs, rediscovery is my word of week. Oh man… How life changes so quickly. If only my head and heart could keep up with it all!
